Video: Tour the Whitewater Creek Track
Ride along the Whitewater Creek Track! The track has had dramatic upgrades and extensions recently. We got together to check them out!

In 2022, Kingborough Council began building a 3 meter wide, all ages and abilities, shared use path network stretching from central Kingston, alongside the Kingston Park complex, under highways and following the Whitewater Creek in to nearby neighbourhoods. It used to be a narrow gravel track.
Since then, usage has grown substantially, with Parkrun events with up to 400 attendees, daily walkers and runners getting exercise or people just getting from a to b via a healthy, low cost transport mode.
2024 and 2025 saw the construction of a new bridge, road underpass (removing a level crossing) and large track extensions in to the Spring Farm residential development and to the Kingborough Sports Centre.
With these updates, this path network provides many locals, and people moving through the area, an accessible, uninterrupted, road-separated, safe passage.
In this video, join a group of bike riders from around of Kingborough and Greater Hobart as they explore this amazing path network.
